I am so excited to be part of the Wonderful Westridge Learning Community! 

I am originally from a small town in Western Pennsylvania, about an hour east of Pittsburgh.  When I was in high school I was a cheerleader, wrote for the school newspaper, and performed in the drama club.  I went to college at Clarion University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a degree in elementary education.  After graduation, I moved to Maryland where I taught in Prince George’s County.  I taught third, fifth, and sixth grades, and spent a few years as the science curriculum coordinator!  While teaching, I received my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Maryland.

I am part of the large STEELER NATION and love to watch football on Sunday (Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, too, if it’s on).  I enjoy surfing the web for fun, to research topics for school, and to shop.  I am a big music fan and spend some free time listening to music.  My son Kevin and I love to shop and play outside on the weekends.
